Let’s make crispy chicken pakoras so easily with my recipe.
Ingredients of Chicken Pakora
First, you need to marinate the chicken. For marinating, the following ingredients are required.
1. 250 gm boneless chicken- cut into 3 cm cubes
2. 6-7 garlic pods
3. 2.5 cm ginger piece
4. 1/4 teaspoon white pepper powder
5. 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
6. 1/4 teaspoon salt
7. 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
8. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
9. 2 teaspoon lemon juice
10. 1 tablespoon yogurt
For the batter of pakoras, the following ingredients are required:
2 Tablespoon gram flour
2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
Cumin seeds – 2 pinches
Oil to deep fry
Process of Making Chicken Pakora
1. Start with marinating the chicken with ginger-garlic paste. Then add the remaining ingredients (white pepper powder, red chilli powder, salt, garam masala, coriander powder, lemon juice, and yogurt)
2. Keep aside for at least an hour.
3. Mix together batter ingredients and beat thoroughly.
4. Add in it the marinated chicken pieces. Combine everything well, adding 3 – 4 tsp of water to make it moist.
5. Heat oil at medium heat.
6. Fry chicken pieces until crispy and browned on both sides, about 6 – 7 minutes.
7. Serve these delicious chicken pakoras with ketchup or green/mint chutney
