A healthy diet is a diet that helps to maintain overall health. It provides the body with essential nutrition fluid and adequate calories. Food should also provide the appropriate amount of energy and ample quantity of water. A balanced diet should be both sufficient and wholesome.
“You are what you eat” a nutritious diet is significant for growth and nourishment in all spheres of life. It dematerializes fatty acids and saturated fats. It includes plethora of vegetables, fruits and whole grains etc. A balanced diet is a part and parcel of leading a healthy life. It helps to resist against a number of diseases that leave no stone unturned to devastate human body. A person feels more active and energetic to face the challenges of life; and on score of healthy mind, he has better capability of thinking.
Now the burning question rises what is healthy diet plan? Well a proper combination of fruit, vegetables and dairy products will undoubtedly ensure a healthy diet plan. Vegetables are rich in vitamins and minerals. Citrus fruit are rich in vitamin C. They are also source of carbohydrates and fibers. Then a dairy product like a glass of milk is ideal in breakfast or before going to bed. In addition, eggs and cheese are also vital for a healthy body. Some other products like chicken and fish are considered nutritious for lunch. Kale is supposed to be the king of all healthy, leafy greens.
In Pakistan, health sector has witnessed a significant increase of 13.6 %.If we look back, we come to know that developed countries have specified a plethora of budget on health sector. The Bloomberg Global Health Index ranks the following healthiest countries: Spain, Italy, Iceland, Japan, Switzerland, Sweden, Australia, Singapore and Norway. A survey reveals that Switzerland was listed among the healthiest countries in 2018. According to the 2019 ranking, the people of Spain considered healthiest in the world with the score of 92.75%.
In a nutshell, balanced diet is a milestone in human life. Gandhi is damn true by saying, “It is health that is real wealth”. Owing to envious health, a person can execute his duties in an exceptional way. A person can perform wonders as “A healthy body has a healthy mind.”
